Swords Scenes & Soliloquies Production Camps

Shakespearience offers a one week camp for middle schoolers.

(Choose from either of two weeks in July.)

Using some of Shakespeare’s greatest fight scenes from Henry IV, R & J, Macbeth, King Lear and more, we bring the text to life.

We encourage students to also work on monologues along with their scenes, enabling them to focus on acting values from an individual perspective.

All students will study the text, broadsword/rapier, hand to hand combat, improvisation games, acting technique and ensemble work. Mornings are spent in ensemble building and fight work, afternoons in rehearsal and staging.

The camp culminates in a performance for friends and family, under the incredible Redwood Canopy at the Old Mill Park Amphitheater.

Monday – Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm
