Jay Middleton is a vocalist and songwriter who has been entertaining people at thousands of live shows for four decades running.

Twenty-seven years after his last song hit the Top 40, Middleton has returned with his latest album Forward, which critics are calling “the deeply considered, wickedly detailed work of mature talents.”

The Jay Middleton Band features some of the finest musicians that the San Francisco Bay Area music community has to offer including Carl Wheeler, Vernon “Ice” Black, and James Nash. Special guest Jude Gold from Jefferson Starship will also be joining the band for this special record release party performance.


As a vocalist and songwriter, Dan Ashley has been performing for many years, headlining great venues as well as opening for top acts like REO Speedwagon, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money, Mellissa Etheridge, Patti LaBelle and Rick Springfield. Dan is also a popular Bay Area newscaster and always the storyteller.

With a unique blend of Country, Americana, and Rock & Roll, Dan brings a distinctive voice and unique life-experience to his music. Dan’s songs share the joy, heartbreak, love, and loss that is part of our common humanity.

As a courtesy to our neighbors, please park in metered spots and city lots rather than residential areas. We offer validation for the Sunnyside lot–ask for it at the Cafe register.
