The Novato Historical Guild: Speaker Series – Familiar Tales and Untold Stories

Familiar Tales & Untold Stories talk will cover the history of Black Point Inn & Hamilton Air Field

* Saturday, March 11, 10:00 am – 12 pm

Scott Fletcher, Marin Historian and educator, will be the featured speaker at the Historical Guild quarterly membership meeting.

The talk will be based on Fletcher’s book Familiar Tales and Untold Stories that will cover the history of Black Point Inn, which infamously burned down in 1976, and World War I Ace Lt. Lloyd Hamilton, for whom Hamilton Air Field was named.

The Novato Historical Guild operates two museums, and both museums are open Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 12-4pm.
