Vaidis Valaitis — Digital Painting

Vaidis Valaitis has always loved the play of light and color on three-dimensional shapes. That is how he found his way to ceramic sculpture, and then digital art.

It started with his day job, as a systems analyst where he discovered another dimension in the computer world—computer graphics.

Technology at the time only offered a two-dimensional digital world, but he explored its shapes and tested the medium further.  Finally, technology offered three-dimensional drawing programs that provided the foundation for his current techniques and artwork—his three-dimensional works could now exist both in digital and ceramic form.
