Classic but original brand of reflective rock n roll – Stones meets Petty, originals and covers
“Connecting to Community through music” are words we live by.
“We play LIVE to make others feel ALIVE! And we feel ALIVE when we play LIVE!”
Formed in late 2019 by singer songwriter Mark Nelson, and Craig Bartock, two-decade Lead Guitarist and Producer for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame Inductee band HEART, Walking Mirrors has assembled some of the top rock musicians in the North Bay.
Delivering a classic but insanely original brand of reflective rock n roll, the band is led by Craig’s ripping guitar tones and overall musical direction, and Marks carefully crafted story-telling and raw vocals. All the while blending the unique talents of thirty-year Joe Satriani drummer Jeff Campitelli (ranked the 50th greatest drummer of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine), bad ass bass player Angeline Saris (Narada Michael Walden, Zepperella, Catfight etc.), and shredding guitarist Aidan Nelson (Deer Hollow, Berklee College of Music).
For the band, everything we do comes back to community connection and support…what can we do, as artists and musicians, to make the lives of others just a little bit better, and brighter.
Walking Mirrors released their first self-titled album in 2019, where Nelson and Bartock’s magical songwriting and production collaboration are on clear display. The music is heavily influenced by the raw energy of the Rolling Stones and storytelling and approachability of Tom Petty.
The second album is set to release in late 2022 or early 2023 and is certain to “move you.”
The band’s live sets include carefully selected songs from our twenty-five-piece original catalogue, and a host of synergistic cover songs that just make you feel the way you were meant to feel. Damn good.
All net proceeds of Walking Mirrors Music are committed to serving music and the arts in North Bay.
