This art series and exhibit by local Fairfax artist Wawi Amasha is a dynamic and colorful representation of life in various parts of Africa.
It portrays lively landscapes and people with intricate textures and patterns. Before colonial rule penetrated the continent, people lived simple lifestyles and communities were strong. A reverence for both animal and plant life allowed them to live symbiotically with Nature.
Art Exhibit will be in the Fairfax Library Community Room and is available for viewing during library open hours, Monday thru Saturday weekly.
RECEPTION: A reception will be held on Saturday July 16th from 2-4pm. Everyone is welcome to attend, masks are optional.
