Will Marsh – The Integration: Live Album Release Concert

Join us for the celebration of Will Marsh‘s debut solo album, The Integration

An accomplished performer on both sitar and guitar, Will reflects on what this album means for him as an artist.

The Integration is a culmination of everything that has influenced me musically in my twenty plus years of devotion to my craft.  I’ve spent half my life studying Western based music on guitar and another half Hindustani on sitar.

There was never an intention to say “hey let’s mix together what I’ve learned as a guitarist and a sitarist.” Rather the music just came out. It’s a part of who I am. I invite you to join me on this path of integration.”

This unique album brings together many instruments, influences and sounds for something fresh and alive. The title refers to the integration of Will’s musical influences which range from Frank Zappa and Ravi Shankar to Maurice Ravel and Jobim.

The evenings performance will feature some the Bay Areas’ finest musicians including Josh Mellinger (percussion), Misha Kahlikulov (cello) and Greg Barnett (guitar).
