YOUR NONPROFIT RESOURCE FOR ARTS IN MARIN

There are no recent bookmarks.

Throckmorton Theatre was founded on the belief that the arts are essential components of a rich and rewarding life, and are an indispensable part of human inspiration and education.

Located in downtown Mill Valley, Throckmorton Theatre is a 200-seat theatre built in 1915 as the Hub Theatre, a silent movie theatre, visited by none other than Charlie Chaplin himself. Now a fully-equipped theatre, with several performing and exhibition spaces, we are a non-profit 501(c)(3), federal tax ID# 94-2677165.

We engage our community in arts that expand our horizons, challenge our beliefs, and surround us with passion and beauty. We foster community and understanding by bringing together diverse populations, young and old, artist and audience, while stimulating and enriching each of us as individuals and world citizens.
