Allison Fragakis is passionate about creativity and LOVES helping reconnect others to their exiled creative selves.  For the last 10 years, she has led creative writing circles and retreats.  She combines the joy of writing with just about anything—including art journaling, music, nature, hiking, and even horses.

As a poet, Allison writes on-the-spot personalized typewriter poems at parties and special events. On random Sundays, find Allison with her 1929 Portable Remington typewriter clacking out free poems for folks at the San Rafael Farmers’ market.

In her past life, she was a registered dietitian and author of books and magazine articles on nutrition (The Health Professional's Guide to Popular Dietary Supplements published by the American Dietetic Association and co-author of The Jungle Effect).

Allison has awakened many of her own long-lost creative dreams and is still in hot pursuit of all forms of creative expression including songwriting, dancing, singing, drawing, poetry, painting, jewelry-making, card-making, children's book story writing, butterfly taming, tree talking, gardening and much more that she joyfully shares in her blog.
