Using acrylic paint, a variety of mark making drawing materials, and, occasionally collaged papers I experiment with line, colors, shapes and textures.  Relying on intuition and "not knowing"  along the way, my intent is to create paintings which often surprise and delight me with vitality, originality, and authenticity. I try not to play it too safe or to recreate what has worked in the past.  It has been said that the best work is still tomorrow's and not in the past.
