At the 12th annual Point Reyes National Seashore Fungus Fair, you’ll learn about the fungi of the Point Reyes National Seashore and see the remarkable colors and shapes of wild mushrooms that were collected right in the park.
Professor Tom Bruns will present a tour of evolutionary history in the Basidiomycota, one of the phyla which produces mushrooms. Debbie Viess presents the beauties and oddities of the fungal world. David Rust will list some of the “do’s” and many of the “don’ts” of edible mushrooms.
