Peter Anastos brings his dynamic mix of straight-ahead, ethnic-infused Jazz to the stage. His original compositions feature Peter’s unique writing style that has led him to pull from his cultural roots, applying Greek Folk dance foundations to several of the pieces. The overall repertoire provides a wide variety for the listener, so there’s something for everyone.
Anastos has been playing with various musical ensembles in the Bay Area since the late 70s. Peter Anastos & Iter have been together since 2005 and includes Frank Martin on keys, Andy Dillard on drums and percussion, Jon Herrera on bass, George Mylordos on bouzouki, Mike Young on saxes, and Peter Anastos on trumpet and flugelhorn.
