Alan Hall’s Ratatet

Alan Hall’s Ratatet

Presented by Fenix at Fenix

Ratatet’s all original music is a mash-up of Jazz, American Pop, Impressionism, Blues, and various South American styles and rhythms. Aside from being active performers, the members are professors, producers, composers, and teachers—three of whom are professors at California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, CA. The six musicians of Ratatet have played with a collection of Jazz artists and theatrical productions throughout their careers, including Cirque du Soleil, Geoffrey Keezer, Lee Konitz, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, Art Lande, Cuong Vu, Russell Ferrante, Teatro ZinZanni, and many others. On the blog of Midwest Records, Ratatet is described as “…a delight for younger, open-eared listeners who don’t mind having the door to something new opened for them.”
