After twenty-one years at his Caledonia Street location in Sausalito, San Francisco painter John Wilmer is hosting a five-decade retrospective of his career.

The opening features work from throughout his long career -- including both figurative and abstract paintings -- from landscapes to conceptual representations.

The opening is Saturday, June 9 from noon to eight at the John Wilmer Gallery -- 333 Caledonia Street in Sausalito -- and will include a free performance by the noted a capella men's choir The Conspiracy of Beards singing the songs of the late Leonard Cohen.
