Come in and make art: YIA will host an open studio for children of any age or ability every Friday all summer long!
Children and their parents can visit Youth in Arts on any Friday this summer, and make something wonderful.
YIA will provide all of the art supplies ideas and inspiration one might need, and kids can let their imaginations run free.
Paper, pencils, paint, oil pastels, glue, collage materials, fabric, ribbon, buttons, all kinds of textures and more will be available! A Mentor Artist will be on-hand if kids need help with materials or technique.
Artists can work on personal art pieces, or K-8th graders can create works to enter into the "Kids Imagine our World" art contest (due on August 3).
The Youth in Arts Studio will be free and open to the public from 11-4 every Friday this summer (11-7 on July 13 for the Art Walk).
Participants can just walk in and stay for as long or as little time as they need.
