Saxophonist/vocalist Nancy Wright and the Rhythm and Roots Band perform soulful blues and R&B for FREE in Menke Park.
Nancy Wright was nominated for a prestigious Blues Music Award (best horn player) for the second consecutive year. The Blues Music Award is universally recognized as the highest accolade afforded blues musicians.
Her latest CD, Playdate, was selected as one of the best albums of 2017 by Downbeat Magazine.
Nancy's band will include all-star blues musicians from the Bay Area -- Jeff Tamelier on guitar (Jefferson Starship, Tower of Power), Tony Lufrano on keyboard (Boz Scaggs, Bonnie Raitt), Karl Sevareid on bass (Robert Cray), and Kevin Hayes on drums (Robert Cray).
