Students in grades K-8 create pictures of the world they imagine when they are grown-ups

This event is associated with Marin Arts in Education Week.
YIA Gallery in downtown San Rafael will host this new exhibit September-November 2018 and prizes will be awarded to selected artists in each age group.
Students in grades K-8 offer their vision for our world. Imagining themselves as grown-ups, we asked them to: “ Imagine a WORLD with…”
The exhibit, on view through November 30, will include a child-sized ode to the great Japanese artist Yayoi Kasuma’s Obliteration Room. The all-white space, set up with kid-sized furniture and toys will be infused with color by visitors who are invited to add colorful dots.
