Regeneration Through the Visual Arts for Mothers w/ Melissa Parhm

This course offer an opportunity for regeneration through the Visual Arts with meditative breathing techniques that you carry with you throughout your day. Reconnect to yourself and find community with other women who are mothers of young children.

Being a mother takes an enormous amount of energy. The time spent with Melissa Parhm will allow you to regenerate, to refresh and to reconnect yourself to who you are as an individual during the phase of your life.

Drawing, painting and learning meditative techniques will allow you to be authentic, at ease and able to come to a place of calm whatever the demands that are made on you during this wonderful yet taxing time.

The combination of visual arts and meditative yoga will help you learn how to breath into your day, how to prevent stress AND offer an opportunity for you to create something beautiful both internally and externally.


All skill levels welcome.

Facilitator will provide drawing and painting supplies. Attendees need to invest in a drawing board, size 23 x 26”. If you have a favorite journal, notebook, charcoal or pencils you enjoy please bring them.   Tea and coffee and a warming snack will be provided for the group.


About Melissa:

Melissa Parhm has a B.A. Psychology, M.F.A. Illustration, and Certified Yoga Instructor. She is also a mother!
