San Francisco’s internationally known NEW CENTURY CHAMBER ORCHESTRA begins their 27th Season of presenting amazing music at the Osher Marin JCC on Sunday Nov 4th at 3pm.
New Century opens its season with a debut appearance by British violinist Anthony Marwood as Guest Concertmaster in a program featuring Dvořák‘s beloved Serenade for Strings and Seavaigers by London-born composer Sally Beamish.

The New Century Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1992, looks for fresh, exciting ways to present classical music in the San Francisco Bay Area by combining performances of extraordinary quality with innovative programming. One of only a handful of conductorless ensembles in the world, New Century is comprised of local musicians and those who travel from across the U.S. and Europe to perform in the Bay Area together.

From Highway 101 in San Rafael, take the North San Pedro exit and head east. The Osher Marin JCC, at 200 N. San Pedro Road, is on the right-hand side, half a mile from the freeway exit.
* The Osher Marin Jewish Community Center’s parking lot is located directly in front of the building with parking spaces for disabled patrons available.
* Additional parking is available at the JCC Annex lot, located at 210 N. San Pedro Road (just east of the main campus). In the event of multiple programs, or heavily attended events, overflow vehicles may be directed to available street parking or on adjacent properties.
* Evenings and weekends only: There is additional parking across the street at Venetia Valley School.
