After Hours: Naked Truth - real. stories. live.

Our favorite Irish emcee David Nihill returns to host a fabulous night of true, live storytelling featuring Jeff Hanson, a regular at Moth GrandSLAMs; Brandon Spars, a three-time Moth winner (including two GrandSLAMs); and Dixie De La Tour, founder and host of Bawdy Storytelling.

These seasoned storytellers will be joined by newbie Liesl Ramsay, whose story about the the Santa Rosa fire coincides with its one-year anniversary.

About the storytellers:

Emcee David Nihill is a bestselling author, featured in Inc, NPR, Huffington Post, Forbes, and the Irish Times. David was recently part of the Irish Kings of Comedy Tour and SF Sketchfest.

Jeff Hanson, a midwestern native and the son of farmers and factory workers, began sharing his tales two years ago, with appearances at four Moth GrandSLAMs, the West Side Stories GrandSLAM, the Throckmorton Theatre, and many other venues around the Bay.

Brandon SparsLive to Tell collection of tales includes scripts of award-winning performances. He is a TEDx speaker, five-time Moth Winner (two GrandSLAMs) and three-time West Side Stories Winner (two GrandSLAMs).

Dixie de la Tour is a sexual folklorist and the curator and host of the original sex and storytelling series, Bawdy Storytelling (celebrating its 10-year anniversary this month) featuring true stories of sex, kink, body image, gender and more.

Liesl Ramsay is CEO of one of the oldest companies in Santa Rosa, a 110-year-old generator company. She is passionate about building better cities, emergency preparedness, and learning what motivates people toward change.
