Artist statement:

Welcome to the Dance Palace.

I’ve had a 60 year journey with photography.  This current show represents an evolution into ‘image making’ the digital world offers.

So often, over the years I ‘documented’... Sierra's glaciated valleys, storm twisted Junipers, and Bristlecone, sunsets, water and its powerful grace, family, Kehoe, and more…

The emotion of the moment was often evident, but the awe in my heart  was left on location.   

A number of the present images are a very small detail carved from what the camera caught… isolated, blown up, edited to express the awe I felt the moment the shutter clicked.

I hope you find some of it, too.
