Recently debuted at the Marin Center, the photographs being shown at Toby's Art Gallery were made over an eight-year period during Marty Knapp's daily walks along the Green Bridge Trail near his Point Reyes Station home.

They remind us that beauty is best found once we slow down and notice what the light shows us. As the light changes through the seasons and the hours, new views are revealed--invitations to photograph.

Certain places along the trail, unremarkable at one hour, become wondrous light-filled scenes at other times. The low-angled sun highlights openings along the trail creating inviting portals.

Fogs create soft mysteries as they blanket still pools in the creek. Super close-up portraits of dewdrops, webs and frost on the often-overlooked but magnificent flora in the wetlands reveal an even deeper layer of the Creator's wondrous design.
