Join Marin Ventures, a day program serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities across Marin, at a one-night exhibit of our clients’ artwork at Copperfields Books.
There will be light refreshments available after the coffee bar closes.
Marin Ventures is a community integration day program for developmentally disabled adults.
Our mission is to foster independence and personal growth, and to promote the opportunity for community integration. We provide health and fitness activities, creative arts, computer and communication instruction, and independent living and employment skills training.
Participants are enrolled in one of four programs according to interests, skills, and needs. All Marin Ventures participants are able to join any activity offered in the program, regardless of the level of support needed. Activities and learning opportunities are matched to Individualized Program Plan goals. New activities and resources are constantly being considered and provided.
The Creative Arts Program exposes our clients to drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, textile art, digital art, videography, drama, and music.
