Curated by Elia Haworth
Bay Area photographer Beth Moon traveled the world to find and photograph the majesty of ancient trees, which she views as the elders of this planet.
This exhibition presents luminous, large-scale pigment prints, each depicting primeval California trees against the vast night sky. These trees, some thousands of years old, inspire awe and humility.
Moon, a long time Marin County resident, has drawn an international audience; with exhibitions in Brazil, Dubai, Italy, England, France, Singapore, and United States. She has published many books, including Ancient Skies, Ancient Trees.
