Lama Palden Drolma with Sylvia Boorstein - Love on Every Breath

Lama Palden Drolma with Sylvia Boorstein - Love on Every Breath

Presented by Book Passage at Book Passage, Corte Madera

Today, when our human family is facing so many challenges, it is more important than ever that we find peace & sustenance in our hearts. Love on Every Breath, or Tonglen, is a seven-step meditation for anyone who wants to nourish & open their heart.

Love on Every Breath elegantly and practically addresses a contemporary culture rife with anger, fear, and a sense of exclusion. The practices heal both the practitioner and the society in which they live.

In this inspiring evening, bestselling author Sylvia Boorstein will lead a dialogue with Lama Palden Drolma about her new book Love on Every Breath. They will discuss the eight steps of a full Tonglen practice, as well as the “On-the-Spot” strategies for each step of the meditation that Lama Drolma offers throughout the book, which can be practiced in the moment anywhere and anytime. They will also explore the meditation’s numerous benefits, like shifting away from ego contraction, opening more deeply to love and compassion, letting go of clinging to our negativity and fear, and connecting with our innate Buddha nature.
