José Neto: The Man Behind the White Guitar

This musical documentary focuses on Brazilian guitarist José Neto, whose music and energy have supported major world musicians, including Harry Belafonte and Steve Winwood, as well as Brazilian greats Flora Purim and Airto Moreira.

His eventful musical journey from Brazil to the US and England and deep life challenges have taught him the values of a positive spirit that can speak through his sounds and performances.

Following the screening, Neto will participate in a discussion with director Richard Michael, producer Barbara McVeigh and journalist Paul Liberatore.

He will also perform some music on stage with his son and fellow musician Pablo.
