MILL VALLEY SALUTES MEMORIAL DAY

Parade Route Alert: Due to the Miller Ave Project, the parade route has been altered this year. See new route.

Pre-parade celebration and flag raising at 9:45 am at Lytton Square. Last year, the parade featured floats, window displays and art cars. See what they have in store for you this year.

Join us for THE parade of the year May 29 in downtown Mill Valley Mill Valley’s Memorial Day Parade. Post Parade party at Mill Valley Community Center follows. There will be a pre-parade ceremony in Lytton Square across from the Depot to honor the local individuals who have given their lives for our country.

Saluting is also used by the Police and Fire Departments. We will be honoring those who gave their lives and those who continue to protect our country, our town and our way of life: Small town pride, Mom, Apple Pie , Freedom, Opportunity and Democracy.

Break out the Red White and Blue, build wondrous floats, great window displays and show our kids and country how creativity and working together help to create amazing results.”  There will be music after the parade at the Mill Valley Community Center.
