Free screening of film about an important, little-known activist
Presented by the Marin County Free Library, the Tomales Bay Library Association and the Dance Palace, come to the Dance Palace for a free screening of Dolores.
This film tells the story of Dolores Huerta, among the most important, yet least known, activists in American history.
An equal partner in co-founding the first farm workers unions with Cesar Chavez, her enormous contributions have gone largely unrecognized. Dolores tirelessly led the fight for racial and labor justice, becoming one of the most defiant feminists of the twentieth century.
There will also be food available for free from the Tomales Bay Library Association.
Free admission, free food
