LEAP Presents – Valley Queen – a Fundraiser for Lagunitas School District
The Los Angeles-based band Valley Queen is Natalie Carol, Neil Wogensen, Shawn Morones and Mike DeLuccia.
On their debut LP, Supergiant, this fantastic band envelops singer Natalie Carol’s bracingly afflicted, mountain-vaulting dream-country yodel in scrappy, sprawling guitar poetry.
Carol can evoke anyone from Grace Slick to to Neko Case to Florence Welch to Dolores O’Riordan of the Cranberries, giving the band’s California roots sound a kind of storm clouds-over-Laurel Canyon feel.
LEAP is the parents of the Lagunitas School District, working hard to build a fundraising community to benefit all of our programs: Montessori Elementary, Open Classroom Elementry and the Middle School.
