Exhibition Dates: January 17 - February 15
Artist, teacher, friend and neighbor Betty Wilson’s (1920-2014) life was a journey in artistic exploration and excellence.
Always prioritizing design principles including pattern, proportion, balance and contrast, her paintings were masterful in their use of form, composition and color. Her studies in portraiture, geometry and abstraction were masterful.
Betty Wilson not only taught at the College of Marin, but was also an active member of the Marin Society of Artists. This exhibition will include over 40 paintings spanning 50 years of work and allows us to celebrate a woman who loved her creative journey.
