Marty Knapp – One Place Deeply

Marty Knapp – One Place Deeply

Presented by Point Reyes National Seashore Association at Bear Valley Visitor Center

The Show is On!

Measures have been and will be taken to promote the safety of visitors and staff at the Bear Valley Visitor Center.

The auditorium is spacious and we should have ample room to seat people every other chair or so in adherence to Marin County's latest safety guidance.

We're all on board to make this an enjoyable respite & escape from the difficult news we've all been laboring under.

Marty will present slides from and discuss the making of One Place Deeply: Walking the Green Bridge Trail, which details his intimate photographic journey over an eight-year period in the Lagunitas Creek wetlands meadow near his home.

The book captures the changing light and forms that occur during all seasons over an extended period in a natural area just west of the village of Point Reyes Station. From Marty’s introduction: “I walked the trail during every season, at varying times of day. As the light and weather changed, views along the path unremarkable on one walk would take my breath away at another time.”

After the visual presentation and talk there will be time for questions and discussion. Books will be available to be purchased. Marty will sign and personalize copies of his limited-run book.
