Presented by Mill Valley Public Library at Streaming Arts

During the County-ordered Shelter-in-Place, the Mill Valley Public Library will remain closed through May 31.

The coronavirus may be keeping us all home, but that doesn't mean the Library can't still serve you.

Keep up to date on coronavirus information at the Marin Department of Health and Human Services.

And in the meantime see our Library-in-Place offerings:

eBooks and eAudiobooks
The Library offers thousands of titles available digitally to read or listen to on a wide variety of devices, delivered through the Libby app. Libby can also easily send titles to your Kindle devices or Kindle app if you prefer. Sign-up just requires your library card number and PIN/password.

eMagazines
RBDigital gives you access to dozens of magazines to read on your device (find the app in your app store) or in a browser. There are no due dates and no queues to wait in - you can read each issue the moment it hits newsstands. From serious news coverage to stress-dispelling celebrity gossip, there's something for everyone.

The New York Times Online
The New York Times has dropped its paywall for coronavirus coverage, but you can also explore the rest of the site and read unlimited articles when you create a New York Times account and then follow this link to generate a 24-hour pass.

Streaming Video
Kanopy offers documentaries, foreign films, and notable "smaller" features as well as the Great Courses and a robust selection of childrens' material. It's available on devices, through browsers, and on many smart TVs and set-top boxes (e.g. AppleTV, FireTV, Roku, etc.) Kanopy is working with its providers to make some content available free (meaning it does not count against your monthly play count tokens).
