Artists from around the country were invited to submit works to celebrate the art and creativity of their personal vision.

To interpret their ideas, thoughts, emotions: what they see, feel and express through their art.

The works in this show reflect the views and opinions of the participating artists.

JUROR: Dennis Kautsky Calabi, Gallery Director of the CALABI GALLERY in Santa Rosa, CA.

Dennis K. Calabi has been a conservator of paintings in private practice since 1970. In 2009 he opened the Calabi Gallery to give exposure to artists he felt were significant yet had failed to achieve proper representation. The focus of the gallery is on west coast modernism of the post World War II era, but also shows antique and contemporary art. The unifying element of this diverse collection is that he needs to feel passionate about the work in order to show it.
