Rewarding and recognizing the creative spirit in our kids

Creative Youth Celebration will review art and music created by our high school students and provide them awards for their work and critical recognition at an important time in their creative development.

We want to encourage local teens to submit original, creative compositions in the following artistic disciplines:

• Visual Art (oil painting, drawing, mix media etc.)
• Photography
• Music Composition
• Music Performance
• Short Films / Screenplays / Treatments

The Creative Youth Celebration will recognize the students by showcasing their talents at a celebratory event and awarding cash prizes to a significant number of the best entries.

Submissions Entry Period – **EXTENDED**:  Entries are accepted through December 8, 2020

Who May Enter:  Marin County teens enrolled in high school, ages 14-19

Submissions:  Students may enter in multiple categories (No fee to enter!)

Prizes:  $10,000 in prizes will be awarded, with multiple honors in each artistic category (total prize money is based on the total number of entries received). The Creative Youth Celebration wants to not only reward the artists but also show appreciation for their inspired works. Our hope is to encourage all participants to pursue their passion and to further their creativity.

At the conclusion of the Celebration, we plan to hold a community event displaying the artwork, showing the films and live performances.
