LOCAL>> Day of the Dead San Rafael

Presented by Multicultural Center of Marin and Albert J. Boro Community Center and Downtown San Rafael BID and Art Works Downtown and 2nd Friday Art Walk at Streaming Arts

Day of the Dead — Dia de los Muertos San Rafael will celebrate its 32nd anniversary for the entire month of October in 2020.

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic we can't gather in person for San Rafael's 32nd annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration.

So this year’s Día de los Muertos celebration is presented virtually online, using all the bells and internet tricks we can, ZOOM, Youtube, Social Media and more, from October 1st through November 1st.

There will be a full month of free activities for all ages: art workshops, story telling, cooking demonstrations, altars, music, dance, and more, culminating in a decorated car procession through the Canal on November 1, convening at 5:30 pm in the parking lot at 3240 Kerner Blvd (Marin Health and Wellness Campus).

Visit our website and social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for all the details, and join us in sharing this tradition!
