The MVAC’s Virtual ArtWalk for November with two new exhibits!
Exhibition Dates: November 3 - 30
Our Virtual ArtWalk for October 2020 features Artists Rachel Davis & Beth Davila Waldman.
Featured Artists Rachel Davis & Beth Davila Waldman were originally scheduled to have in-person exhibitions during October 2020 at City of Mill Valley locations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have created a virtual environment to display their art. (See galleries for artist contact information.)
Rachel Davis is a mixed media artist, ikebanaist (Japanese flower arranger) and psychologist, born and bred in New York City, and thrilled to call the San Francisco Bay Area home. Whether in her portraiture celebrating women, her figurative work exploring memory, or in asian inspired abstraction, Davis is interested in evoking transformation in feeling states. Richly textured and layered, her work invites the viewer to linger and discover more. Learn more!
Beth Davila Waldman is a San Francisco Bay Area artist since 1997. She strives to bring a layered global sensibility to her art practice from the various chapters of her life considering my ancestral and cultural roots from Peru and Austria, Manhattan and Texas. Academically trained in sculpture at Wellesley College and thereafter at San Francisco Art Institute, it is no surprise that her practice still heavily relies on the concept of moving through public space.
