We may have some copies of the book available for attendees of the book club. Please call us at 415-485-3323 to reserve a book club copy and schedule a curbside pickup appointment.

March 18 – The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, hosted by Librarian Marilyn Boatright
This book has been chosen as San Rafael Library’s “Book to Action,” a community-wide program from the California Center for the Book to Read/Discuss/Act during the months of March-June.  We will be hosting two book discussions and a number of online programs around the issues this book brings up: race identity, transgender identity, colorism, passing, among others.

April 15 – Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart, hosted by Librarian Marilyn Boatright
