The play takes place during two days in the spring of 1600 in the drawing room of the Shakespeare family home in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Plague and famine ravage the land. Life is fragile and survival uncertain, but grief is as excruciating as ever. Each person seeks solace from this brutal world in their own form of obsession or madness.
The perfect setting for a comedy.
A talk-back with playwright, director, and members of the cast will follow each reading.
