LOCAL>> Movie Night – Fairfax History

Presented by Marin History Museum at Streaming Arts

This film was created in 2014 by the father-son team of William and Brian Sagar.

With their permission for this showing, we will explore how the town, schools, churches, and a sanatorium came to be. Fairfax even had an Olympic-sized track field and an Incline Railroad.

We will follow the history from the earliest days thru the mid-1940s.

Some say it is a unique Marin town, others might say a crazy town, but it is an historic town that maintains its culture and position in Marin County.
