The Community Media Center of Marin presents "The Astonishing Beauty of Marin," a virtual art gallery featuring works by Kathleen Goodwin on exhibit through August 31.

Goodwin’s oil paintings and watercolors of Marin are done both on location and in the studio.

Her paintings have been exhibited at the Bolinas Museum, the Claudia Chapline Gallery, Gallery Route One, and Toby’s Feed Barn in Point Reyes.

She is the author of “Point Reyes Visions” and co-author of “California Trip” and “Visions of Marin.” Goodwin was drawn to Marin County because of its wide-open spaces and wildlife, reminiscent of her native South Africa.
