Artist, author, conservationist and philosopher Obi Kaufmann is the author of The California Field Atlas, a guide to the state’s ecology and geography as well as The Forests of California, and The State of Water: Understanding California’s Most Precious Resource.

On Sunday, July 18, 11am - 1pm, he returns to Marin Art and Garden Center in the newly renovated and delightfully rustic Redwood Amphitheater to discuss The State of Nature and the importance of biodiversity for the future of our planet.
