Artist Statement:
Without any formal training in the arts, I have applied my creative imagination to explore the visual arts of sculpture and photography, as well as the literary arts of essay writing, poetry, and the writing of quotations, philosophy of life and humor. How philosophy of life and humor travel together, weave in and out, intersect and interact particularly interest me.
Photography is a relatively new adventure for me. All of my images are clicked and edited using only the iPhone camera and various apps.
O’Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley, California and its Photography Group have been the spark plugs for my creative imagination.
Thank you for taking the time to view the images in this show. I hope you enjoy them. Please feel free to share your criticism with me. A fine polish often requires an abrasive.
