DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: Tuesday, September 25, 2018 by 5 pm
The Mill Valley Arts Commission is now accepting 2D artwork (sorry, we cannot accommodate 3D art or jewelry) from artists and/or guest curators in the greater Bay Area to be considered for a show in the City Hall Council Chambers or Mill Valley Community Center.
Some of the shows may include more than one artist. Shows are hung for one month; opening receptions are typically held on the first Tuesday of the month, and are part of the monthly Mill Valley gallery ArtWalks.
Each artist or guest curator must be able to mount a show of at least 15 pieces of artwork.
REGISTER VIA MAIL OR DROP OFF: Download the Artist/Curator Information Form, follow instructions for sending examples and payment.
REGISTER VIA ONLINE FORM: Complete an online Artist/Curator Information Form, follow instructions for sending examples and payment.
Artists will submit Artist Information, $25 submission fee and upload in .jpg format 10 examples of the artwork they intend to hang representing the type and range of the art that would be included in the show.
Note: Artists who exhibited at City Hall Council Chambers or Mill Valley Community Center in 2018 are not eligible for the 2019 Call for Artwork.
Note: Guest Curators may not repeat a previous year's collection
