Exhibition Dates:
* January 18 - March 23
In the Jewish calendar, we are in a shmita year, a time of rest in a seven-year Jewish life cycle.
This art exhibit at the Osher Marin JCC's San Rafael Campus is an exploration of shmita in gorgeous visual art and objects.
The works on display in our Shmita exhibit were curated from submissions to the Shmita Prize to challenge the audience to consider the relevancy and application of Shmita values in our contemporary world.
Presented by the Osher Marin JCC/Taube Center for Jewish Peoplehood, the exhibit can be viewed at 200 North San Pedro Road in San Rafael.
There will be a free closing event on Wednesday, March 23, starting at 6:30 pm.
Come on in and enjoy this exhibit and explore the art throughout the center.
