A Road Not Taken: Film Screening and Meet the Filmmakers
In 1979, President Jimmy Carter, in a visionary move, installed solar panels on the roof of the White House.
In A Road not Taken, Swiss artists Christina Hemauer and Roman Keller travel back in time and tell the story of what happened to these panels and those involved in the oil crisis of the time. They also look closely at the way this initial installation presaged our own era.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the Swiss filmmakers, Christina Hemauer and Roman Keller, and Ocean Conservation Research executive director Michael Stocker.
