Discussion of poetry anthology from early in the pandemic
Come join librarian and poet Margaret Stawowy for a discussion of Together in a Sudden Strangeness: America’s Poets Respond to the Pandemic, edited by Alice Quinn.
March 16th marks the second anniversary of shelter-in-place, and this book was created in the months immediately following that historic day.
In the words of William Carlos Williams, “It is difficult to get the news from poems, yet men die miserably every day for lack of what is found there.”
