The Stories of Eva Luna by Isabel Allende

The Stories of Eva Luna by Isabel Allende

Presented by College of Marin Performing Arts Department at College of Marin Performing Arts - Kentfield Campus

Directed by Erin McBride Africa

Isabel Allende's novel is re-imagined for the stage

Eva Luna's wandering tales bring us through the playful delight of lovers' passion, a community complicit in covering up a murder, an unspoken courtship through dance, a betrayal through love letters, and a natural disaster that brings a TV reporter face to face with his own demons.

This unconventionally staged collection of stories from Chilean author and Marin resident, Isabel Allende, celebrates the power of storytelling.  Eva weaves language like a thread that creates life as she tells her stories.

Follow our actors as they move in and out of the stories, crafting the worlds before the audience's eyes.
