See the 21 finalists, winners, and Producer’s Award-winning posters from the 2022 contest!
The 21 finalists, winners, and Producer's Award-winning posters of our 2022 contest are on a Bay Area exhibition tour.
Exhibition Dates:
* July 1 - September 30
The Youth Poster Contest is open to all Marin County middle and high school students.
Our mission is to provide an inclusive and unique messaging platform for youth to express their hopes and concerns about social justice, health, climate change, women's rights, firearms regulation, immigration, discrimination, and other vital issues.
Our purpose is to stimulate creative ideas, problem-solving skills, collaboration, and use art to inform, challenge, and inspire the greater community to take action and make a difference.
The Youth Poster Contest is developed in partnership and enthusiastically supported by the Marin County Office of Education. Additionally, the Youth Poster Contest is critically important in reaching out to underserved Marin youth who might not otherwise participate in such a contest due to a lack of art teachers, art supplies, or parental support at home.
We provide free poster workshops (including a well-known artist instructor, free art supplies for the school, and a surprise gift bag of art supplies for participating students) in several Marin Title I schools, which serve our most at-risk students. And for our 2022 contest, we are working with Next Generation Scholars to provide free poster workshops to their middle school program for at-risk Marin students.
