An outdoor meal at Headlands Center for the Arts with Bay Area Fellow Arleene Correa Valencia
Join us at Headlands for Sunday Supper, outdoors in the Commons, with Bay Area Fellow Arleene Correa Valencia.
Correa Valencia is an emerging multidisciplinary and community-oriented artist whose work addresses the effects of our current socio-political and ecological climate on undocumented communities in the U.S.
This event features a debut performance by the artist of her work “Wetback Life Hacks” followed by a one-of-a-kind, participatory meal co-designed by Headlands Chef Damon Little and the artist’s mother, Rosalba Correa.
This presentation and meal provides a moment of shared experience around the common human need for inspiration and nurturance.
