Opening band Donuts at the Morgue is followed by The Strange, an indie-rock band with influences from various genres, notably 80's post-punk and modern neo-soul, performing a mix of original songs and covers of various artists, ranging from Alabama Shakes to New Order to Thundercat.

This original music is characterized by confessional storytelling sung over grooves that will make you sway & jams that are sure to get you dancing.

This show is sponsored by Fairfax Parks and Recreation and is a part of a new series called the Emerging Youth Concert Series.

The concert is free, musicians work for tips so donations encouraged.
